NYC Venue for a royal wedding look
Burden Kahn Mansion Wedding
May 19, 2018. Do you remember what happened on that very day?
On that day, Megan Markle got married to Prince Harry and became a Duchess of Sussex.
Three months after the royal marriage, there has been an increasing interest towards the "Royal Wedding". People often ask us which churches or venues that have a similar look of a royal wedding. They want grand and extravagant experience for their blissful ceremony.
So, this post is specifically for those people who are looking for a venue with a look of the royal wedding. NYC Wedding Photographer would like to recommend you a venue where you can get a similar look and vibe of a royal wedding. This venue would be the Burden Kahn Mansion.
The Burden Kahn Mansion was actually a private home designed by architect C.P.H Gilbert and J. Armstrong Stenhouse. The architects were asked no expense to be spared. I mean, literally no expense to be spared!
The Mansion's exterior is made of French limestone imported from St. Quentin. And, interiors of the Mansion are made of Caen stone. Overall, the Mansion has a beauty of Italian structure during sixteenth-century architecture.
Due to the elegant structure and its design, a New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission appraised the Mansion with a following quote (source: Burden Kahn Mansion's website)
"In its grand scale, distinguished design and superb construction, the Burden Kahn Mansion is the finest Italian Renaissance style mansion in New York."
Around a month ago, two of our wedding photographers visited there to shoot a wedding for our client. And, they were awed by the grand interior display of the mansion. Here are the photos:
